Lately, I have been pretty obsessed with the concept of "Why". Though this isn't a new concept to me, I have found myself asking the question, more often than ever before. I am also known for asking questions like, "to what end," or, "who cares." Although those questions are very powerful tools for motivating others and driving success there is something about "why" that gets to the core of not just the thing being done, but also the person who is doing it. 

Since I can remember people have made remarks about my ambition. I've heard everything from, "how does she have so much energy," to, "if you don't be careful you are going to burn yourself out." What I have realized is that people who made comments about my "hyper-active" search for success may have failed to realize one thing, I am an eagle. Being an Eagle has helped me tremendously as a communications professional.

When you are in your 20s, the same question seems to come up over and over and over again. "What's next?" If you are anything like me this is usually followed by hyperventilation and nostalgia for the days when your biggest problem was figuring out who to take to prom.

Welp, those days are over ladies and gentlemen. Grab a brown paper bag and breathe! It’s time to face that fearful question head on.

I on the other hand cannot stop thinking about Kerry Washington. Yes, I mean the actual Kerry Washington, not Olivia Pope (who I am also in love with, like so many others).
