BUILDING CULTURAL AGILITY AND EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

As a reputable law school our client established the need to eliminate common cultural silos and prepare institutional constituents to effectively interact and connect with individuals from various cultural backgrounds throughout their professional experience within the institution and beyond. To address this need we developed and facilitated a training program focused on highlighting and managing the influence of culture on understanding, interpreting and inclusively engaging the law and our relationships.
OUTCOMES
Conducted and analyzed assessments to establish the baseline understanding of global cultural agility and cross-cultural communication
Delivered practical skills that strengthened participants' ability to connect with, represent, and advocate for diverse groups of people and ideas globally
Integrated pop culture concepts to addressed institutional cultural silos and promote an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued and integrated
Established an understanding of different communication norms across cultures, including nonverbal cues
Discussed implicit bias, its impact, ways to assess biases, and underlying behaviors
Increased awareness and understanding of microaggressions while providing strategies for recognizing and mitigating associated behaviors
Reinforced the institution’s commitment to diversity through a comprehensive understanding of religious, cultural, and social diversity
